What exactly is chatFlow?
A Mac app that turns your spoken word into finished chat messages — with punctuation, emojis, your own dictionary and optional translation. You hold a key, speak, let go — the text is in the field.
What about my privacy?
chatFlow can work entirely locally: recognition on your Mac, no histories in the cloud. The app uses cloud services (e.g. premium recognition or translation) only when you actively switch them on.
Do I need an internet connection?
For local dictation: no. Only premium features like cloud recognition, translation via external services or the AI writing assistant need internet.
What happens after the 7 free days?
To keep using chatFlow — including the local models — you then need a subscription (from 29 €/month). There is no permanently free version. But: no automatic payment without your consent and no credit card required for the trial — when it ends, the app simply pauses until you decide.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes, cancel monthly with two clicks. Your settings, dictionaries and achievements stay saved in case you come back.
Is chatFlow available for Windows too?
